I was in the salon and saw a child doing something potentially harmful. Mom ignored it. Both mom and daughter are strangers to me but I wanted to say something. When mom stepped out for a moment I did say something to the child. Should I have A) left it alone, B) talked to mom, or C) did I handle it right by speaking to the child directly? (This was NOT a discipline issue.)
